This one gave me shivers. I love how you set me up with the serene forest background... The shadows among the close by trees were shifting, dancing, living. Shadows that haunt you when you're not looking, shadows that sneak upon you when you shift your eyes forward and keep your back in the dark and Long tree branches, looking like old man's hands, sneaking down to the floor, caressing the leaf covered forest floor then slammed me with Sam's pain getting butchered in the warm summer night.

I especially liked: dark in his mind where the pain shut off the light. And you mingled the comfort he received from small odd things like his bracelet as well as his trust in Dean. You are the master of OBE's! When I read your work I slip easily into the shoes of your characters. Whatever you do--- keep writing!

I have it too, the kinda Sam had and whenever I'm sad or in pain or whatever I just look at it and yeah....
