Really enjoyed this story! I'm a Hurt-Dean Junkie and this one was fantastic on so many levels. You kept Dean in character & funny (the whole ping-pong bit with the chest and back was painfully hilarious), and while Sam was comforting, he wasn't weak. I can't stand weak Sam. Anyway, awesome job. I've decided that I like funny-hurt-Dean more than the angsty hurt that is often written (though I do love it too, just no as much as this) The dialogue between the boys, Dean's inner thoughts that made him smile secretively, thus pissing Sam off, was fantastic! Just brilliant and I often found myself smiling in response. Wonderful job!

Love the part where Sam reflects on Dean's walls and not only how important they are to Dean's survival, but also Sam's security. Very interesting perception! So glad that even when he's sick, Dean manages a snide remark or two. Lovely trasition from Asylum to Faith! Wonderful!

Nice take of the events after Scarecrow. I like your take on it. Well written story. Great interaction between the brothers, very realistic. You don’t see much Sam taking care of sick Dean but I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Overall, it was a very well executed and strong story that had great angst & brotherly moments.

Favorite line: "Dean was home to Sam, and Sam clung to his indestructible walls for support almost as much as Dean did himself." That defines their relationship to me -- especially considering when you have this set. Dude, you about did me in with the "rock-hard nipples"... even though it was a serious moment, I completely blanked out for a moment -- seriously, staring into space -- and had to go back and re-read to get back in the moment you were weaving. Loved this tag/story/bridge thingy. Great hurtDean and caringSam... and that whole thing about Sam not shooting Dean again... since we know it happens... well, water can be soft. Sometimes. Thanks so much for writing!

Yeah, had me blank for a bit too.... Did I mention that I just love hindsight? I had to throw that in there because of the punch in BUABS. It always puzzled me a little bit until I watched Asylum a few more dozen times (really) before/ while writing this and then it suddenly just made perfect sense...
