I love this! Just my kind of fic. Wee!Dean in distressed and Daddy made it all better. And to top that, wee!Dean still had time to console his baby brother!

Great little one shot. Loved how you gave us how Dean's fear of flying started, but John knew just how to stop him going into outright panic, telling him it would scare Sammy! Great how you wrote John, I always see him as loving his sons and doing what he thinks is best for them but often misses the big picture - they need love and affection - with his need to keep them safe. Flying isn't my favourite passtime but did manage to do 24 hours straight, going to Australia on my own last year - and the return trip of course!
Author's Response: Hey I always wanted to do this fic since I watched Phantom Traveller and finally got round to it. I wanted a nice John in this, one that was still in the transition from father to hunter. Glad you liked it. I hate flying, it's boring and I never feel safe. Fly to the US one year and it was seven flights there and back. Never again! I would love to go to Australia, but that is some flight! Take care, Mary x

Love the story! I can see where Dean came to be afraid to fly! I'm wondering where their final destination was in Canada? Seattle is in washington, so I guess they could have driven the rest of the way to Canada.

Ah, the wonders of modern flight. No wonder Dean is so scared of flying! I liked John in this story. Very nice.
Author's Response: Hey Flying freaks me, I flew to the USA and my husband made me fly from JFK to Dulles in what can only be described as a sardine tin with wings. We had to go down onto the apron just to get on!! Hated every minute of it! So I feel Dean's fear! I thought I had to write something with nice John in it, before the hunter took him over. No wonder Dean hates flying. :) I've never been on a plane. Just the thought terrifies me. I like the way John is portrayed here. I think he did the best he could with the boys. It just wasn't always what we would think of as best.
Author's Response: Hey there I just wanted to write something that was justify Dean's fear. I hate flying, it all the hanging around in mid air that gets to me!! I hate heights too which doesn't help. I tried to have nice John in this one, the transition from loving father to hunter was still under way here. Mary xx
