Nice catchy beginning. I liked how it was set up like a real episode with the case snippet in the beginning, giving the reader a hint of what the boys will be going after but still leaving plenty of mystery. Nice touch with Dean wishing for Sam back in his life & how that immediately preceded the events of the pilot. I liked Marie, you really portrayed her well & brought her to life. I like her backstory and the story of why she is out for revenge, there's more depth to it. This story had great twist that kept me thoroughly interested and hooked. Good interaction between the brothers that felt real and was true to the characters and the show.

Absolutely loved it. I have been to New Orleans twice but never got a chance to really see the place. I remembered a few bits...I live in the UK now and love to hear from the US especially Texas... Southern area... so if you ever need a setting... maybe the boys can walk down the streets of Laredo...

Lovely end to the story Sam - glad the boys sorted out the whole wish issue, because that seemed to be eating Dean alive. And as we know, Dean is perfectly capable of feeding his guilt until it achieves heroic proportions! Great action and great brotherliness through the whole story. Thanks so much for wrapping this up before going on vacation - have a great one. Loved this story and especially this chapter! Terrific insights into Sam but particularly into Dean - I totally agree that Sam's approval is totally necessary to Dean - he's said time and again that Sam is his moral compass - in addition to the brotherly bond.
