Very sweet and sad. I could see a 9 year old Dean comforting little Sam like t his. Sweet.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I wrote this during season four when things were going so bad for the brothers. I wanted to believe that Dean had promised his brother he'd always be there for him and that he wouldn't break his promise. And of course, Dean did what we always knew he would and went after his brother at the end of season four....the best season yet, IMO.
