Great story!  I liked Molly, and her reasons for standing in to protect Dean.  Hurt Dean was lovely, of course, and so was the scary black dog!  Well done!

Author's Response: Thank you! Molly started out completely different, but she refused to sit back and let Dean rescue her.  I love it when the characters take over...

Great ending.  Loved the description of what Sam faced as he arrived at the scene.  Great imagery.  I really enjoyed story.  I'll be sure to share it with my SN buddies!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the kind words!  I didn't know the story had posted yet, so I was thrilled to see so many reviews so soon!

Good thinking on Dean's part, to quickly teach Molly since he was losing ground quickly.  I like the mention of the heat in the gun from Dean's feverish hand.  Nice detail.

Wow.  They both have a lot of baggage to deal with.  Nothing like a Blackdog to take your mind off your sorrows!!  Good thing Dean didn't get sucked into the chick-flick moment too much.....his hunters senses still work well!

Oh man!  Another tough call for Sam.  He'll be out there all alone.  And the 2 wounded are sitting ducks, too! :o

"You promised Sam".....ahhhh, Molly's a smart cookie!

Sammy's stuck between a rock and a hard place if he's decided to leave a civvie holding pressure on Dean's bleeding wound.  loving the story!

So, Dean's been watching Sammy's sad face, too. Nice insight into the brothers' concern for each other.  Too bad for that rookie mistake, though!

Ouch!  No good deed goes unpunished.  That'll complicate the hunt!

Love how Sammy knows just what to do.  Great set up for the story.  Nothing like a nice Black dog hunt to get Dean back on track:)

Can you post a story every day? This one was brilliant, absolutely riveting to read! Molly is a very likeable character with a sad history of her own. Really good job you did!

Author's Response:

Thanks!  I've got three or four more stories done; I was just waiting to get the OK to submit.  So, coming soon...

I just discovered your story and really loved it. You really got the feel of Dean and Sam. I really liked Molly, too. Great to see a female character that is not a love interest or a Mary Sue. She was great. Poor Dean, he sure had a hard time here, but seemed to come to some sort of peace here. Thanks for the great story!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much.  I love to torture poor Dean, but I always try to fix him again...
