Wow, great story! I loved it, especially the part where they were just pretending in front of the  demon, and how they both smirked at the end to the demons frustrated yells, that was really clever on your part, great great job.

You have a really light touch with this chapter - the boys are facing such a terrible dilemma, and the potential for crushing pessimism is high, but you've turned it nicely....like this:

 Dean shrugged. “Well, that won’t work, even if we had the money to rent the room for that long, because I would definitely kill you if I had to watch you mope for a whole week. “

I'm glad it's not a death fic - I really find myself getting WAY too emotional about them! This was an awesome start. Great dialogue and description, well done. I love it that Sam salted and burned himself as well!

Never would have pictured Sanny setting himself on fire but now that you mention it..sounds reasonable.  Poor Sam.

Thanks for reviewing.

Just to clarify...Sam kills himself before the flames really take hold, and he did the self-salt-and-burn for two reasons. 1. Without Dean, he doesn't want to stay on earth in any form, and 2. He doesn't want to take the chance that the Demon could revive him or use his remains somehow.
