That was incredible. Thank you for an amazing story. Well written, fantastically paced, witty dialogue and all. I was smiling by the third paragraph, and it just got wider and wider as the story went on until my face hurt by the end. Fantastic! I can just imagine a frazzled Dean trying to figure out what to do with a little girl. Little boys, no problem, lots of practice with that one, but a little girl? Priceless

Fun!! That actually makes me want to build a fort with my kids! And isn't tha just Winchester luck.....the electricity goes out on the kids as soon as dad leaves!! Good job!

I really enjoyed this short fic. It's great to get a peak into their childhoods, and the building of the fort to ward off pirates was priceless!
Author's Response: Thanks! Love these boys as adults, but can't resist them as kids, you know? And I have many a fond memory of my own fort-building days. My sisters wanted to build them and wait for knights in shining armor. I was more of a fight off the pirate invasion type though, myself. :D Thanks for the awesome review! :D M

Great job! The banter was very natural and lots of fun! Little Sam going all "No, Dean. It's thunder." at first was adorable. I thought I saw Blues Brothers reference!! Gotta love imported zebra. And pirates and The Lion King :D
