It's fine that you added the Dean's invitation at the end of 'Changing Channels', considering that Castiel doesn't exactly have a great track record when it comes to fighting archangels.

Also, I loved Dean's middle name and Gabriel's confusion about Cas' motives. It seems that, despite living among--and messing with--humans for centuries, Gabriel is still unable to grasp the idea of angels having loyalty to humans, or hope for a better end than the inevitable apocalypse.

Thanks for this analysis of Gabriel's psyche. I was too confused by the revelation of the Trickster's identity to think this through, but it all sounds exactly right!
