Yes, Dean is a tragic hero, but the real tragedy is that he's too stoic to admit how much all of those losses really affect him. Thanks for this insight into Dean's character!

Very touching! you've captured Dean's crushing and cruel life in only a few short sentences. I think we forget about what was and might have been and focus on the Dean Winchester of today. How tragically sad that the little boy was denied everything his heart wanted.

And damned did Dean and Sam's dreams die. Like all things, they seriously do die.
Wait!? Does that mean the boys can die too? AGAIN?????????
Just kidding. Thanks for sharing I am a sucker for some nice, sweet, heartbreaking poetry and this one certainly had pace, lovely choice of words, the perfect scenes chosen from the show and a great, gutwrenching ending!
