That was just lovely...those poor boys. You handled all of the dialogue beautifully: it pulled at the heart strings, but was restrained as well. Fantastic work, thank you!

Great tag. I'm so glad that you decided to post this. I think that you get Dean's advice to Sam just right. He hasn't gotten over the ones he's killed or at least feels responsible for either. Having Sam go to Jess also rings true for me.

wrt Dean's advice - I definitely think there are things too huge to deal with, and the best you can do is just carry them. As for Sam, I wasn't going to post that part (it makes more sense with the whole story, not just the tag), but I felt he would need to go in order to start moving on.

wrt the pain and fear - that's why I wrote this. After I saw the episode, all I could think was "how do you move on from something like that?"
