I don't like your John. I don't like John in general, that a fact, but I think yours is an overkill. Sorry. I know that we don't know that much about him, and we don't have a proof otherwise but I can't imagine John being a bastard from the very beginning. That doesn't mean I don't like the story. Even if I don't share your view of John, I liked the consistency and the Campbells related musings.

You give a really good description of how messed up in the head John is-- they way he can't make up his mind about what he saw and the drinking. And you have written the character in a way that illicits a reaction. I really want to jump in the story and kill John! But I think you need to check your rating. This much language does not quailify for K+. Happy writing! ~Laura

Hi! - I really like your writing style in this -- though you paint John Winchester a bit more hardened than I think he was, that inner dialogue was quite intriguing. This is good - & I look forward to more!

So the poltergeist is screwing with John and poor little Dean's getting the blame? Uh-oh. That's a recipe for disaster, isn't it? John's in the middle of a grief-stricken down-spiral and Dean's adjusting to broken!Daddy and the milk keeps ending up on the floor... Really looking forward to the next chapter!

I love the opening lines! Creative and vivid descriptions with a really good allusion. Good job! My verdict is out on the entire story though. You are taking a much darker and harsher interpretation of John than I have ever gotten from the show. But it well written and could be very plausible.... so my verdict is out. Is there going to be more?
