Very good!  A little hopeful, a little sad.

Very cool, what a masterful concept! The music is a great part of the show, after all. Poignant description, too.

I don't know if I would pay attention to the music if I was stressed out like that.  That would be bad, because of course, it's always ironic what the music plays in those situations.  It's a proven fact that the radio only plays breakup songs after you've been dumped, after all.  I like the idea that the songs on the radio spoke everything all too appropriately that night.  Great job!

Author's Response:

I figured that they'd be driving a while and not talking, so the music would actually become all they had to listen to. And yep - radio is evil and possessed - it always knows the worst possible tunes to play at the worst possible time!

Ta!

Cal Hunny, Sometimes the songs manage to say it all, very nice choice of song and epi titles.  That last line is so very sad, so bleak...lovely drabble but I'm off to find a pirate ship!  :)

Cal, finally the most addicted of us drabble-junkies raises her voice to join the choir! YAY.

And kudos for all the fine tunes, great idea to use some titles no-one has had so far. Especially Folsom Prison Blues is a toughie... Brilliant!

Most importantly however, you managed to be "pure-calUK". Awesomely poetic as usual! Makes a great tag to 4.22! Love the title too! I might say you're in for the lead in this challenge!

*is deeply impressed* Hugs, Ilka

You called it - I am utterly addicted. And a challenge like that was just too hard to turn down!

Ta again hun - glad you enjoyed the show...
