"We did it twice and it was...it...she was...wow...." I can definitely imagine Sam at 16 saying all that being quite drunk. And good for him, his first time being more successful than Dean's. Love the story, both Dean's and Sam's talks were great.

Yeah I laugh! It's so funny, and so unusual! I hardly see this type of John in other fics anywhere! I like this John. This John would definitely earn Dean's devotion. Great story! Loving it!
Author's Response: Hey I admit, I had great fun with this one, it was a blast to write. I liked John in this too, especially in the first part. Thanks, Mary xx

Haha brilliant! Thats just the way you'd expect dean to act. Awww and samy's so cute! thanx
Author's Response: Hey there Thank you, glad that you think I got Dean in this one, I had real fun writing it! And Sam is cute, first love....aawww Mary xx

Loved this chapter too. Poor Sam awkward and embarrassed about his possible first sexual encounter and Dean taking him to a strip club, dressed in his dad's suit to loosen him up for the forthcoming event! Could so imagine that conversation between John and Dean when their father found out, it was so believable. Perfect Sam coming back the next night slightly inebriated and well proud of his conquest! And how proud was Dean with "That's my boy." A great two chapter story, loved it.
Author's Response: Hey again I had fun with this one, big brother Dean at his best! Glad you liked John and Dean's conversation, I liked it when I wrote it but it's always nice when someone confirms that it's believable. I loved the end bit too, Dean marking off another major landmark that he's helped him achieve! Cheers Mary x

Really enjoyed that! So funny John wanting the talk with Dean well after the horse had bolted! And loved how Sam inadvertently dropped his big brother in it even more when John was having enough difficulty as it was getting his head around how sexually active his eldest was. And the awkward conversation between them was pure gold!
Author's Response: Thanks Ziggy. Yeah poor John is a little behind the times. I had fun with Sam in this one, trying to help but just digging the hole instead! lol The little convo at the end was fun to write and I had to end it with John realising that he was wasting his time! Glad you liked, Mary x

What a treat this story was, it put a smile on my face, lol. John was a little disconcerted by Dean's knowledge about sex. I enjoyed Dean talking about his first experience to Sam and giving him tips so he won't forget that first time ever. Mary, do you have brothers, because I would see an older and younger brother behaving like this about this kind of subject, lol. You did an amazing work with this story.
Author's Response: Hey Oceane I loved this story, it was great fun to write, especially Sammy's bit with 'the orcale' giving advise. Poor John, Dean really is streets ahead of him!! I have a big brother and sister, but I used to go to the football with my brother and his friends and some of the conversations in the car would have made Dean blush! I think they forgot I was there sometimes...I was the sober one, designated driver! Some of this...is based on those!! I will not name and shame though! lol. Mary x

The difference between the two boys is outlined so perfectly here. Dean's story was just funny, but Sam's is so painfully awkward. Poor kid! It occurs to me that while I've enjoyed the stories, I have a daughter who is fourteen. I am suddenly grateful that these boys are fiction, and I'm never letting her date. Ever.
Author's Response: Hi Yeah, Dean and Sam are chalk and cheese. Dean is a 'hands on' person, experience is everything to him and Sam is a 'step back and study first' Yeah, lock up your daughter! I intend to lock up my son until he's at least 20! lol. No irate mothers at my door! Mary x

This was a fantastic coda to the story. Dean is so matter-of-fact in his dealings with sex, while John is caught in the romantic ways of it. And poor Sam can't is somewhere in between. But I bet most teenage boys would love to have a brother like Dean to help them out.
Author's Response: HI there Thanks. Yeah Dean and John are polar opposites when it comes to sex and love. It's their lives though that have made them that way and poor Sam as you say is somewhere inbetween. I bet my teenage guys would love Dean helping them out!! Thanks Mary x

Duuuude this chapter was just... LFNSFLFGVBGTGV;VV; < That's me being speechless. LOL Awesomely funny, brilliantly written, entertaining and at an age we didn't see much of, so totally in character!!! The conversation in the beginning, it is just how I would imagine Dean to handle the talk and exactly how Sam would react. And then to so skilfully tip the funny scale with some angst...Aww, Dean feeling like he'd disappointed and embarrassed John, such a heart breaking moment as we all know that's a familiar feeling for the older brother. Even the realization of how Sam would have to learn to live with loving and leaving, which gives us more insight into Dean's behaviour with women in the show. Awesome! But oh gosh, the end, I had the biggest smile on my face. I'm so chuffed you decided to do a continuation, this is a story I could read more than once, every time I need a laugh. The funniest story I've read in a very long time, with the most touching ending. "That's my boy." Schelz <3
Author's Response: Wow, thanks Schelz, this is an awesome review. I had so much fun writing this. I actually wrote three different chapters 'cos I couldn't make up my mind where I wanted it to go, and then I realised that they all had to fit together somehow. Glad you liked the result. The part about having to show Sam how to love 'em and leave 'em was the part that got to me too. Dean's attitude to women always strikes me as not a choice but a way to get through his life with the least pain. Sad. I loved the ending too, Dean proud of his brother finally getting off the mark, you can shut your eyes and see that smile! Thanks again, this review absolutely made my day, I am so glad that this made you smile. Mary x

I loveloveLOVE that you end it with John changing his mind! :D Awesome!! :P
Author's Response: Hey there Thanks, I loved that line as I wrote it, it kinda made the whole story, John just giving up! Cheers Mary x

LOL! Had me laughing the whole time! Yep, I can see where John couldn't even compare his er, you know, with Deans! Ha, ha, ha.....
Author's Response: Hi there Thanks! I don't think anyone could compare or compete with Dean, heck what woman would say no? :) Cheers Mary x

This is so freakin' funny, I had my hand over my mouth every other minute, too many classics to mention without basically showing you your story in full. lol o.O After all that awkwardness - You're right. We don't need to have this talk. Too awesome for words, I loved every minute of it, I've tried to post a review 3 times so that should prove how good this is. ^_^ (faving it) <3
Author's Response: Hey there Thanks. Glad that you had as much fun with this as I did. I loved the last line, you know that way when you write something down and you think - yeah that's it? Well that was one of those moments. Thanks for the stars and the fav, Mary x

OMG this was great! I ... I'm speechless it was so funny. I can see John's face (stunned yet thinking may be he could learn something from his own son) and Dean's (embarassed at having this talk and giving his history to his dad!) John and Mary waiting...how sweet. Thank you for making my Friday!
Author's Response: Hey there Thank you. Poor John and Dean. Dad learning that his son is way ahead of him in the 'putting out' dept! lol. I wanted John and Mary to have waited, somehow it makes Dean look worse and adds to the story, and she did say that John was sweet in ITB. Glad to assist with lifting your Friday! Cheers Mary x

So, so glad I don't have any boys to have that conversation with. I felt so sorry for John but I bet there are dads all over the world having that sort of conversation. I loved it!
Author's Response: Hi there I've got one boy but the talk will be Daddy's job, not mine, thank goodness. You gotta feel sorry for John! Glad you liked. Cheers and thanks, Mary x

that was great, very funny...I have to say I starting thinking about giving that talk to my kids, hopefully they will not be little dean clones! lol good job
Author's Response: Hi there Thanks. My boy is only 7 so the talk is a while off yet - but that will be Daddy's job when the time comes! Cheers Mary x
