Yay! A hopeful ending. It would have been wrong to tie everything up neatly with a bow. The've lost the Impala. That closes a chapter on their lives but they still have a future and a purpose. I believe they'll be alright. “You really think Robert E. Singer would let a little thing like the Apocalypse get the better of him?” That was a marvelous line! A hint of the old Winchester resolve shines through. And we're also reminded how important Bobby is to them, and how full of piss and vinegar the old hunter is. Yep! We know he's out there somewhere. My only question is: what became of Anna and Castiel? Thanks for sharing this amazing story with us! Walking in each characters shoes for a spell really brings it all to life.
Author's Response: I don't really wanna tell you what happened to Anna and Castiel. As I didn't want to leave this story nice and "wrapped' as you say. The reasons for me not wanting to do so may or may not have something to do with me possibly or possibly not planning a sequel. Now, I don't mean to be mysterious, but I simply can't tell you what I may or may not have planned or what I will or will not do.... You understand? Thanks for reading :) I will try to do the sequel, that I may or may not write, justice.

Wow! If Castiel could get Sam all along what was he waiting for? Yes, I know. The right time. Fabulous chapter! I love to see the powerful cower and the truly righteous reign. It seems Rosie has a more significant role than I first believed. The end when Dean hears Sam's voice is fabulous!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I forgot what the title was and had to put the word out on the Shout Box. Great! Dean's banter with Castiel is wonderful! It makes me sad, too. I miss Sam. But I'll take hope. It looks like he's coming up soon.

Oh how sweet! I love Rose! You've captured the childlike innocence and the cute mannerisms of a four-year old girl so well. I expecially like the front teeth missing and the way she hides her smile so no one can see. In-betweens is a fun phrase for them. So cool that you tied the family from the episode into your story---luuuuv when writers do that!! I can't wait for more so PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE post soon!!!
Author's Response: Ahh yes. The mystery of "Jasmine" is revealed :D Thanks for the compliments on capturing the mannerisms of a kid... I think :S It came frighteningly easy. I loved the inbetweens and her shyness too :P I love when other authors do that too tie-ins with the show make the stories seem like something missing from the actual series :D The next chapter is done and I'll put it up tonight :) The story is kinda' short and pretty much writing itself so it won't be long until it's complete, I'm afraid :)

Was the stranger Bobby? Oh, it would be great if Bobby were still alive! With Dean and Bobby there's still hope for Sam, hope for the world. I love finding out about each character and you've chosen an interesting way to tell us their stories. I'm rushing off to read the next chapter.
Author's Response: Well that's actually as muc a mystery to me as it is to you. My stories have minds of their own and was the stranger Bobby? Time will tell for both of us. Thanks for the points on the way I chose to tell the story. I wanted to try something new and hope to do it with more stories after this one. It's nice to see the brothers from strangers' point of views :) I hope to do it even better next time, though :) Looking forward to see your review for the next chapter :)

You did an excellent job describing the condition of the world and the people inhabiting it! I was thoroughly involved! I'm so excited now to know that Dean is alive! At first I thought the strange man that taught them to say Christo was Dean but now I know it wasn't. Will he ever be identified? Dean will bring so much knowledge to the small group of survivors. I know he'll be a great comfort to Jamine. Is she one of the 'special children'?

Fabulous! It was so expressive and potent. You had me smelling the sweet corn and the green grass and the ocean, feeling the wind and hearing the cries of seagulls. How very beautiful and tragic. I understood Dean's despair, his weariness, his desire to cease to be, stop hurting and feeling. This was a wicked sweet chapter!

Ah yes the story is starting to come together now. I'm enjoying this more and more. It's so intense, I have this fascination with post-apocalyptic stuff. The story is being played out so well, as always looking forward to more. ^^
