Blood smears are never a good way to end a chapter!  EEEK!

Author's Response: Next one is written... sooo I'll update soon. I'm sick anyway. Might as well make the best of it, right?

Oh poor Sam!  He's in big trouble, and I think Dean has NO IDEA how much.  I like what you've done here, setting up this "epidemic".

Author's Response: Thanks for the reviews :) And I'm happy to hear you enjoyed reading them. Yes Sam does appear to be in great trouble, doesn't he? Let's hope Dean figures out what's wrong before it's too late;P

I just started reading, and I do have to say that the beginning is very compelling.  I can handle dark- I think. ..:)

Author's Response: Hey! :) You read American Psycho too, didn't you? I think I remember seeing your name on the review-list. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Let me know if the story causes you to need crisis counselling ;)

Very interesting chapter!

I like that Sam was able to track down patient zero despite all the years that have passed and all the people it has passed through.

Sam and Dean's appetites switching is very telling.

Author's Response: To be honest that wasn't planned. Their fluctuating appetite just happened on its own. But it's good to hear you can still make something of it :)

Mentioning Sam's addiction to demon blood was a surprise.  yet it showed how numb he was becoming to his old life and who he used to be.  The old Sam could never have thought of drinking demon's blood without disgust and anger.

This is a great beginning to what should be an exciting and mysterious story.  I especially liked how you described the darkness enveloping the town and its affect on the people.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reading and for reviewing. Yes you're completely right. Sam is getting numb, as I believe he was after Dean's death and still right after Dean's return. Call it shock, but we're not as a species designed to have our world flipped upside-down and insideout on a daily basis. SO yes Sam is shocked and numb.

And thank you very much for the second compliment. Metaphores are my life :)

I saw this posted ages ago and have only just had time to catch up on reading it...very intense, dark and I am interested to see where this goes.

On to the next chapter this evening, hopefully...good one

Amazing story! I had tears in my eyes the whole time and especially at the end. I know what you mean about depression,(it kinda runs in my family) and anyone who has'nt suffered from it should think themselves very lucky. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you very much. I wanted to reach someone with this story and I hope I can make it more exiting for ya. Heck, I know I will :)
