Awesome! They are so beyond angry or hurt in their behavior, it's really scary.

Normally, "not having a good day" would mean for Dean to beat these kids senseless (and then feel bad afterwards) and for Sam to start crying when he doesn't get his heart-to-heart. But this takes it SO much further and it still feels right.

Ending: perfect!

Good story.  I thought Dean's ability to let go when Sam was there to pick up the slack was very telling of their relationship at this point.

Good job.  That was a hard time in the Winchesters' lives:(

"It didn’t matter; Dean didn’t feel like fighting back tonight."  I found that to be such a depressing sign of Dean's grief.  He just didn't even care.....very sad.

Author's Response: I know, right!!! I felt a bit depressed and started thinking about his grief in those moments. Also I saw a movie where a guy talked about the hangover you got from killing and that helped get the wheels turning :) Thanks so much for the review!
