A great little fic, it was lovely that Dean would see a beautiful Butterfly, but he saw it again at the hospital, so i'm thinking maybe it was real after all.

But of course... you'll never really know if it's real or not. Maybe death will just aways be there watching him.

Dean and butterflies......when I read that, I was thinking that they were definitely incongruous!! Suddenly Sam mentions "poison" .....and it makes all the sense in the world!

Author's Response: I know right? But I just thought that maybe being close to death he'd imagine something peaceful and beautiful. Especially after re-watching season 2..

I like this... it makes me stop and consider that given a hallucinogen- what WOULD Dean Winchester "see". I like the idea that it wouldnt be something horrific... that it might be something pastoral or peaceful... athough- maybe he wasnt hallucinating- considering he saw the butterfly again outside the hospital window... now I ponder..

Now you'll never know if the butterfly was real or not. As much as I hate ending things like that, I figured it was fitting for the moment.
