This was truly a pleasure to read - what a treat!!! So well written and the gestures and the detail even the nuances of the characters so in keeping with Ridley and Tida's work. Wonderful stuff - I hope you dabble often.

There is a Walton's mountain quality to the early years on the farm between the future Triad - you have captured this perfectly. What makes the Brotherhood Great is the strength of the bond between the characters and you have captured that. You must be very fond of this series to write it so beautifully - Well Done!

Thank you very much!  It's wonderful to hear this story fell right in line with the AU's creators' vision.  I have enjoyed the Brotherhood tremendously and am glad you felt I was able to capture it's character and feel correctly.

I'm not sure if any other stories in the Brotherhood are hiding away, but I never can tell where the squirrels are going to lead.  Maybe someday...

I read the Brotherhood stories, and I think you did this justice.  I really like to hear the stories of when they were all young.  And these stories of how it all started are great.

Thank you very much!  I also like reading how Dean, Sam and Caleb became so close and this tiny story was completely unexpected when it started shouting to be written.  I'm glad you think I kept it consistent with the AU and that I did Ridley's creation 'justice.'  Feedback like that makes my day.
