Sam's with Bobby, maybe they can get out somehow... I don't envy Kathleen in this chapter - she's annoyed, angry, hurt, scared, and doesn't really know what she wants to do. You really had me worried for a moment when you had Kathleen put the gun to Dean's head. Watch out Bender, here comes Dean. Awesome chapter as always.

Enjoying the story but I find myself wanting Dean not to be injured. For me it would be much more enjoyable if he was uninjured and facing his enemies and his inner demons.Its like ur giving him an excuse not to stand up and face up.

your story is one of my all time favorites. Didn't have time to read lately but now that I'm up to date again, wow did I miss some heavy stuff. Poor Dean, not only going through hell with the benders, now almost (hoping here!!) dying from the bear trap wound. And his so called last words for Sammy *sniff* made me cry and that was really embarrassing because I read this chapter at work *pouds* You're one of my all time fav writer, every chapter with a new twist and never getting boring. Still amazing... trying to get SOME work done and still read. Wow.. it makes everything just disappear.. I get totally involved and then the phone will ring and I "wake up" and realize I'm still at work. Great stuff.

oh gosh, this chapter was great. I wanted to kill Sam during that ridiculous conversation he had with Dean, how did he expect Dean to understand it? I was almost crying during that talk with Kathleen, it was so sad and so sweet that he remembered everything about Sam. He was obviously more of a father to Sam then John was (I'd forgotten he was alive until you mentioned it). Where'd you drag Sam off to? Is he going to see Bobby?

Kate, this chapter rocked!! you had me in tears when Dean was telling Kathleen what she had to tell Sam. all of Dean's memories about Sam as a child. Maybe if Dean truly believes he puts Sam's life at risk by his drinking and doing drugs, he will stop. I just ache for Dean. He about flipped out when he heard there was something in the woods in Hibbling. I'm rally looking forward to reading the next chapter. I'm just hoping Dean will stop his self destructive acts!

I had been pretty down about the fact so few people seem to bother to review even though the read count for the story is pretty good, so I really appreciate that you took the time to write one for each chapter you've read so far. With this story I'm really trying to give some insight in to the psychological issues that can arise after what happened to Dean in Woods... they don't just disappear overnight. This is my version of the S4 PTSD, in a way... and I am also trying to show the impact on Sam and Bobby too... I'm so glad you are enjoying it!

Holy moly! I was afraid Dean might be doing drugs as well. I'm so hoping that they can get Dean to stop drinking and self medicating. I wonder if there is a Wendigo in the woods attacking the hikers? I'm glad that those men at the bar didn't hurt Dean and were able to get Sam and Bobby to him on time. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter!!

Great day! That was one intense scene at the end of the chapter. I was biting my nails the whole dang time! I'm so worried about Dean's drinking and lack of appetite. How long can he continue this? I assume this is still in the first season? Wonder what John would make of all this? I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter.

Love Bobby in your story. He is awesome, like Sammy said! I think he may be right about the dreaming. Dean could be dangerous to others if he has another nightmare. I find it incredibly sad he has no idea that he killed Bobby's dogs. At least he was able to admit what happen to him, even if it was a stranger. Looking forward to reading more of your incredible sequel!!

ouch, ouch, ouch, poor Dean - he's hurt again. So a 'Gabe Bender' way back when became the Wendigo that has Bobby. Do I have that right? I was wondering why it was calling Dean 'kin' and wouldn't go after the Benders. They have to stay for a week until Dean gets better! <bites nails>What about poor Bobby - you wouldn't kill him would you? Awesome chapter as always.
