Lindsay,

Thanks so much for reviewing! I wanted to try something people wouldn't think of right away.

Hi Pooka,

This is a good story, short and to the point. Using just a few words, you drilled down to the heart of the matter. I'm remembering Dean's comment in "Home": "eccept this time, we already know what happened (in the house)." It's fascinating revisiting the night of the Fire through all the different author's words.

Author's Response:

Sue,

Thanks so much! I like when stories don't drag on and on so I guess I incorporate that into my writing. :D I tried to connect all the author's words together. Hopefully it all paid off!

Thanks again!

Oh, Mary's POV is so sad, the way it cuts off!  I was surprised to find Anna there- INTERESTING idea!  Great job!

Author's Response:

Thanks rose!

I was trying to have the reader actually be a part of her pain. I thought i would try having Anna pop up in there to have it somehow effect the future. hehe

And forever after John would be the soldier, i like the way that you suggested that the war was still very recent for John, poor man...

And Mary's regrets for trying to shut out what Azazels deal meant, & with her end word cut of...

And Anna, rebellion starts here! And the Angels had been watching over them, but not in the way Mary had hoped!

Nice one...

Author's Response:

Thanks Jacq!

Yeah, I thought that John should still have the effects of war coursing in his veins still. Yeah :P I thought that her word being cut off would give people the full effect of what happened. Hehe the angels are never what we want them to be.

Thanks again!
