Very beautifuly written but so so sad, well done, i  really loved this.

Author's Response: As always I'm immensely flattered by the praise and convinced I'm just channeling Mary's ghost's thoughts :) Thanks anyway, though *bows*

This is a really neat juxtaposition of Mary pinned to the ceiling, and her thoughts wandering freely through the choices and people that made up her life. Nice, sad and triumphant at the end.

Author's Response: I fell in love with that last line. Because I do feel she was a character who wouldn't give up. Like her son - quitting was not an option. Thanks for reading and for the lovely review!!!

Mary's inner monologue here is very beautiful.  It's true, if she hadn't made the deal, John would be dead, and she wouldn't have the boys at all.  A situation you just can't win.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review !!! :D I'm glad you feel the same way and thank you so much for the praise. Mary came up with most of it by herself, I was just there to jot it down :)

Splendid!  Mary's thoughts as she dies are so inspiring!  This is a true measure of her faith and her strength.  Even as she's dying by the hand of a demon she puts her trust in God.

And when she refuses to follow her father into heaven because she knows the demon is still in the world stalking her family, that was so touching!  Another mark of a devoted mother, a strong woman.

Seeing the family from Mary's pov is something we get rare glimpses at.  The love she has fior her husband and their children is remarkable and yet so sublime.  She's grateful for all she's been given and revels in the joys she's experienced instead of crying over what she won't be able to have.  Truly exceptional, as is this body of work!  Thanks for sharing it with us!!

Author's Response:

Thank you SO much for your kind words. I felt that Mary has a lot more to say than the show allows and revelled in the chance to speak her voice. I feel that this was how she would have thought. Her spunk and will shone through so clearly in In The Beginning in season 4 and I wanted to capture that :) Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!
