Finally, someone honors Bobby as the father he was. He was such an influence in the Winchester boys' lives. he gave them the stability and security they needed. Thanks for writing this! It's wonderful and long overdue!

Awww! I was getting confused there for a sec. I mean, really, that does not sound like the John Winchester we all know and love. I never would have thought of using Bobby as their idol on Father's Day. Well done - another great story.

as i was reading this i was thinking you were crazy bc this totally doesn't fit john. then i got to the "family don't end with blood" and i was like "oh." lol. this was really good and different from all the other FD drabbles. extra points for using bobby - he's awesome!

Fits Bobby perfectly but not John in my humble opinion.
Author's Response: Unfortunately, John wasn't as totally supportive as Bobby probably was, but I know John loved his sons. It is simply more complicated with John.
