Caleb wondered if possibly Sam believed his name was 'Sammy No' as anyone rearely said one word without the other these days.  Very funny!  It takes me back to raising my children.

I always love the way you write Pastor Jim.  He really comes to life the way he watches over the boys and their fathers, the facial expressions he makes and the thoughtfulness behind his actions and words.

"Sammy not a brat," Sam said, sleepily.  "I a dog."  Another clever touch!  Kids hold on to their pretend characters so strongly.  My daughter was a cat for three days.  Only the threat of sleeping outside changed her back to a little girl.

Now that's a Father's Day that Dean deserves.  A little bit of nostalgia and knowing he makes a positive difference in the lives of those he loves.

Interested?? Don't keep it a project, make it real guys!! I'm already in love with the new generation, and love the current one getting older. There's so much I'd like to read about them. So thanks for this little Father's Day present, and remember, the hiatus has already started...! ;)

So cute! I loved it!

I really like the Legacy series but I have to admit I am dying for the next Brotherhood story. And don't think I missed that little teaser about Sam needing to be put back together after the Lucifer thing! lol

Can't wait for more! Great work!

Loved this father's day tale!

I've read True North not very long ago(and loved that one too) and I remember that compass and I really liked how you used that here.

Winchester Legacy series? I'll be checking those for sure (can't wait!)

Very well done.

Got me all teary eyed. My father died in sept of 2000 and Fathers Day is NOT a good day for me. Like Dean I get grumpy.

Look forward to more.

Really decent blending of the past and the future - love the natural progression between the Winchester brothers and their children. Your legacy stories are comforting in light of the Angst that sank Christmas - that Kripke is dishing out right now!!! LOL!

As always your Brotherhood tale delivered!!!

Great story!
