Author's Response:

Thank you!

This story was one of my fun experiments, dabbling with two sets of timelines so I'm really glad you like it.

And thank you! It's a huge compliment to say I write Dean well so thank you so much for that! :D

Thanks again!

I love the comparison to Atlas.

I LOVE the reference to the line from the pilot.

I LOVE the plot.

I love how you describe Dean when he's angry, i like your "Dean-anger" hehe:D...

I love the way you managed to bring both closure and a feeling of unease into the end of the last chapter, by playing on Sam's line with the monster in his closet, and the actual killing of said monster, thus destroying the threat...

And it's just a great story...

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reading and for the great review! :) It really means a lot.

The line from the pilot was one of my main inspirations for doing this story and my imagination just ran wild 'cause I loved writing it.

And an angry Dean is a sexy Dean :D

I love writing this story so much 'cause it was such a thrill and loads of fun so I'm really glad you enjoyed reading it! :) Thank you again!

Very Willy Wonka! (Well, those freaky oompah-loopas or however the hell you spell it always did wierd me out a bit...)

Author's Response: Willy Wonka, he he! I can understand why they'd give you the creeps... I'm getting shivers just thinking about it.

I didn't listen to Avril's Keep Holding on, but i was listening to Maroon 5's I Won't Go Home Without You, and it fits rather well also.  :)

Author's Response: Ooo, Maroon 5! Amazing group and brilliant song. Thanks for reading by the way, and for the stars too!

Incredible!  I love that you ended with the Sam/closet monster bit from the pilot episode!  And Dean didn't remember a thing.  Well, all's well that ends well.  *Tears* It's the end.

Author's Response:

Thank you absolute loads for reading and reviewing at each chapter... It really means so much and I am so glad that you enjoyed it 'cause this was one of my favourite stories to write.

When I first started this I decided to base it around what Sam said in the pilot... BUT I wanted Dean to be the centre :D And so this came out.

So thank you for reading!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay! They found Ricky!

So funny that Sam punches Dean!  Gotta love those Winchesters!

Author's Response:

Ricky! Poor little thing... :( Bless him.

It seemed right that Sam punched Dean... especially when thinking about 'Born Under a Bad Sign' :D Winchesters rule!

Amazing chapter!  Amazing story!

I hate to see it end, yet I want to know what happens.

Thanks for explaining about Charlie.  Everything is coming together now.

Author's Response: Thank you - I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. Glad to know everythings coming together as well, he he. :)

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 03/10/07 02:31 PM · On: Charlie

Now we know why the monster kept Charlie around.  Gross!  But...wait...he'd be maggoty so Charlie must be a mirage to torment Dean.  Oh, I'm so confused!

Love the excitement!  Keep it coming!

Author's Response: Yey Charlie! Poor little guy... and you're right he would be all maggoty (think I mention something later on) so he's just an illusion... >:D Poor Dean. Again - thanks for taking the time to read this!

This is one evil closet monster!

Sam and Dean were both safe the whole time?  It was all just a trick?

When Boby and John finally saw the door was it because the monster was leading them somewhere or because he was distracted or getting weaker and his powers weren't working as well?  And why did he let the girl live?

Author's Response:

Very very evil.

And yeah - evil sadistic thing knows Dean too well...

As for seeing the door... I'm not actually sure if I didn't mentioned why so I'll explain now. Yes - he was too distracted with Dean and too busy focusing all his energy onto that. As for letting the girl live... there was nothing else he could get from her so he just left her to die alone. Poor little thing... and she used to be such a good girl.

Don't go Dean!  I hate this!  It's like watching a horror movie.  You know the monster is in the dark room and you know they know, yet they go in anyway.  Ugh!

Author's Response: Its like you say, you know it's asking for trouble, they know its asking for trouble and yet they. still. Go. Into. The. Damn. Closet. :D But what fun would it be if they didn't >:)

Very creepy!  I love it!  I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you!!!! :D

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 03/10/07 02:08 PM · On: Scratches

You still have me stumped about what 'it' is!  No fair!  Not only can adults not see it, but it can alter its surroundings?!  That's just wrong!

Author's Response: :D I don't think I knew too much about what it actually is, lol - 'cept something that likes children and uses closests as doorways, but as the story went on I got a better idea of what I wanted it to be. :)

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 03/10/07 01:01 PM · On: Some things are worse than silence

I was just pondering how horrible it would be to watch someone licking the blood from your body.  Gruesome!  Poor little Dean.  Now he can hear the troture of another child.  How awful!

Author's Response: I just write the stuff... I'd be traumatized if I spent too much time thinking about what it would be like.... *cringes and gets shivers* Lol. I've been very very mean to little Dean throughout the story. Bless.

OOohhh!  The suspense is driving me crazy!

What happened to the one girl who lived?  Was she catatonic?      Insane?  I hope we find out later in the story.

Author's Response:

I think I answered what happened to her... yeah, I think there's like a mini paragraph maybe less somewhere later on - so hope you found it and it answered your question :D

So thank you!!!!

The title is appropriately creepy.

Wow!  Dean without his protective walls intact.  It's sad.

Love the flashbacks!  They are a marvelous part of the story!

Author's Response:

>:D Glad you liked the title... definately going for creepy *evil cackle*

I love writing flashbacks almost as much as I love writing dialogue, especially when they're really young :D

So thanks!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 03/10/07 12:45 PM · On: I've got you

Great!  I love that even though Dean is terrified of the closet, he's still determined to protect his brother.

Author's Response: If you ask me to choose my favourite Dean I think I'd end up going for the protective Dean because it's so adorable and he wears it so well. :) So I have to have it :D Thanks!

Yay Bobby!  I love when he gets involved.

This just keeps getting better!

Author's Response: Yey! I'm not the only one who loves Bobby! Woo! lol - I think he's so great!!!

Incredible chapter!  Jacob is a smart cookie!  And the monster is coming back for Dean!

Dean can see the monster, but no other adults can.  Is that because he was held captive by the monster when he was young?

By the way, love the banner!  Great photo!

Author's Response:

Thanks! I have a soft spot for Jacob... And yeah - monster's coming for Dean :D

I hope I answered your question further along in the story... :D I think I covered it.

And thanks! One of my early banners - but pictures of Dean really do make just about anything look pretty.  :D

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 03/10/07 11:57 AM · On: Common Factor

Wow!  This is getting exciting!  First little Dean goes missing and now Jacob might be taken, too.  Hopefully, the Winchesters will be able to dumb luck into a way to stop whatever it is.

Author's Response: Poor little Dean... I can't believe all those terrible things I did to him :( Awww bless.... Dumb luck, he he, they have a lot of that. :)

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 03/10/07 11:52 AM · On: Morning After

The exchange between Dean and Jacob is really cute, especially with the bad word.

Author's Response: Dean and kids - I loved seeing it in the first season and really missed it in the second, fingers crossed for plenty of kids in the third season... okay and that just sounds wrong... you know what I mean though, right? lol
