‘Yet things didn't even come close to any of his dreams and now he was left with all of his hopes crushed, his life destroyed and no tears left to cry.'

This was quite a beautiful line, aptly describing Sam's continuing guilt over Jessica's death and his conviction that he could have saved her if he'd just done things differently.

Dean's concern and worry was well painted, but he sort of doomed himself and Sam with that famous line - "It's just a simple salt and burn"....oh, Dean - you should know better....

Mount Olivet Cemetery, eh? We have a Mount Olivet Hospital here in Brisbane - it's for terminally ill patients. Funny coincidence, that.

Scary that Sam looks so much like Antonio - and that Louisa thought he was her long-dead husband. Can feel Dean's pain and panic when she vanished, taking Sammy with her. And it was so sad that Louisa was so broken-hearted even after death that she refused to believe that Sam wasn't her lost love.

And trust the Winchester luck that had Sam standing at the top of a very steep flight of stairs when the ghost went up in flames.

Thank heavens Dean and Bobby got to him fairly quickly, though, and got him to the hospital. Loved the little moment when Sam woke up, saw his brother, and knew he was safe, even though he was in so much pain from the fractured arm and head injury.

Looks like Sam has a bit of a long recovery ahead of him.

Good job, hon - sorry I'm so late to the party. I've been in a bit of hibernation lately. But spring is coming to Australia, so I'm yawning and stretching, and slowly emerging from my cave.

Loved this so much, you always write Sam's and Dean's connection in a wonderful way and here, when Sam was so shaken and desperate after Jess died and Dean so afraid of losing his baby brother, you give us once more a deep and moving sight of this special bond. Especially one line so clearly expressed all this love and fear, Dean's "I know, but somehow I'm afraid if I let go he will go away", awesome! Well, Sam made his way back to his brother and how sweet he was more concerned about Dean than his own well-being, shows the kind and caring person he is. Also Right Here Waiting for you is a perfect title and Louisa's story was a sad but fascinating one. Honestly, I can't wait for the sequel!!!!!

Author's Response: Thanks, you are always so sweet. I love the bond between the brothers and I needed to bring that out. I will start posting the sequel soon. Hugs, Vonnie
