I don't quite know whether to laugh or not. I'm certainly left feeling as though I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. As for the significance of 4 minutes and twenty seconds: I know I'm wrong but the best I can come up with is it is a play on the numbers 4 and 2 ie 42 - the meaning of everything from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe.

Ah ha ha, fantastic! I loved the way you built it up and let it rip with that hilarious ending. And, ha, I got the 4:20 reference!
Nice to see when there's quite this much angst going around the fandom. Writing "Staggering" left me completely exhausted and with a strong urge to down half a dozen fizzy drinks and play Twenty20 till I passed out. Flattered beyond belief that "Staggering" inspired you. Thank you!

But there's this streak in me that constantly tries to de-rail owt angsty I write into parody territory. Your story inspired me to write down the germ of an idea I had while rewatching the ep, and go with the silliness. Ta for writing! :)

Oh you devilish creature. I never doubted you for one second, but still the way you built it up, it was so adrenaline packed, so tense, and then "Yeah'ello?". absofrigginlutely priceless. And the answering machine was killer.

OMG! I know this is probably exaggerating, but you did the same for me once so I figured I'd be safe. I'm just leaving this because I just saw your response to the 4 minutes and 20 seconds and TOTALLY LOVE the referance. Ahh the towel.... The answer to life = 42. You don't need exaggeration, you're already ace. :) And I always try my best to write hysterical I LOVE YOU reviews - which means I have to go away and come back later, LOL. We are English, we are restraaaaiined. I always thought Sam and Dean were definitely from the 'what do you get if you multiply 6 by 9?' universe. There's no way they're from the one where that makes 42, LOL, not with their crappy lives so far, ROFL! I also used a tiny weeny Star Trek reference ('resistance is futile') and even a sly Matrix nod ('stiff drinks. lots of stiff drinks'), but they were just for my own personal amusement - and I really don't think anyone's going to get those, obscure as they are, LOL! Ta for coming back and ta for even more stars! You are large celestial body, my friend. (In a star kinda way, not a fat-ass kinda way. Oh. I'll go now...) ;)
