Sam's musings about how Dean would handle the situation was very astute and extremely funny. "Sam wasn't foolish enough to take them all on at once--after all, they'd taken down Dean" "...he'd go in after them, reckless and outnumbered, the Winchester way. Sam smirked, knowing if Dean was in his shoes, that would be Plan A, B, and C." Hilarious! That's something we've seen over and over. "...he didn't want them sloppy drunk, no challenge there, just too stupid to run when they saw him coming." Ha! He wants them to know their asses are about to be kicked. Drunk enough to be slow but sober enough to feel the pain. Excellent!

Just stopped by to say hi again. Loved the update. The bad guys never learn, don't hurt a Winchester brother, because the one left standing will get their justice. (How about one long chapter of Sam's revenge....... that will help him get back to Dean faster :)

More of Sam's revenge please, he deserves a little more airing. Another great chapter, and I picked up on and loved the line 'after all they'd taken down Dean' good emphasis to show Sam's admiration of Dean as his awsome 'Big' brother! And it took 'all' of them to do it. Nice one Jacq x

I think a 2000-word chapter devoted to Sam's revenge is a lovely idea. I love seeing Sam go ballistic in defense of his brother. Loved how Sam calculated the time he could stand being away then halved it - lol. Winchester impatience. Got to love it. Jules

I was visiting on this site reading Christmas stories and had to stop and read the most recent update on this story again. Love the angry Sam and his thought, '...plenty of time to dispense some justice, Winchester style.' Though I still wonder if it is a good idea that he went by himself, except Dean is injured and unable to help. Thanks again for sharing your story with us.
