LOL - poor Sam. Now the hikers think Dean has a little - as in really young - brother instead of the Sasquatch that he really is. But I do agree with Dean's line that Sam gets into trouble easily - *chortle, snort*...

And I loved Dean's litany of annoyances, ending with "No Sam". That tickled me.

So, the other 6000 words is coming soon, right? *poke, poke*

Another fantastic chapter!  I love Dean's humor and this chapter was full of it! 

“Wasn’t a friggin’ deer,” he spat at Jack, getting in his face.  Hilarious!  I love Dean when he's all pissy and sarcastic.

Jack landed hard; wisely stayed put.  Tee! Hee!  The frat boy got an education.

Yeah, about that 4000 word chapter...uh, the last chapter was 400 words. Does that count? LOL No, huh? Okay, well...I have another action/adventure fic with hurt!Dean called "The Soul Collector" and the chapters on it are regular-length ones, much longer than these. Go check it out! :)

Only Sam got to see him weak....aww...stupid too, because he's clearly in a lot of pain.  I'm glad they got to the car!

I am so glad Dean punched that wanker. And he's got a really short memory, hasn't he? I do recall he screamed like a girl not five seconds before.

Somehow I have the feeling that a) the monster isn't going to stray too far and b) that won't be the last punch for that smartarse Jack....
