Yeah Sam! Tear it up! No one hurts your big brother. I loved the lines: "I was thinking they almost killed my brother, Dean. They just couldn't get away with it- they had to pay!" and then when Dean asked if Sam had to be the one to even the score: "Yeah, Dean, I did!" Tee Hee!! "Guess I wouldd have done the same. Better, of coarse." Such a Dean thing to say. What would we do without his smart ass arrogance?" "Y'know, all the times yuou've nearly been dinner, I'd think you'd quit using that phrase." Yeah, like Benders. "Relax , Sammy, I gotta plan." Dean grinned. Those are three of the worst words in the English language 'I gotta plan'. Uh oh! You don't need to thank me for reading. It's my pleasure. No, really! So... next chapter will be posted when?

Been on hols, back now to see this posted :) It amazes me how you manage to get so much said in so few words, well done again. I had been so engrossed in Sam taking revenge on those loggers that I'd completely forgotten there was a creature to deal with! Which means more to look forward to. Nice one again. Jacq x

The cell phone is the prize, right? Another great chapter. this one realy messed with my head. I could see Dean wobbling around the room and tipping over like one of those inflatable punching clowns. I thought your descriptions from Dean's POV were spot on. I felt as loopy as he must have. Yeah, those pain meds really knock a body out. Nasty little things! No way are you opening your eyes before they wear off.

FABULOUS! Now we get the title- very clever. I loved that Sam let Derek hit him so he could claim self-defense (to others, to himself, and mostly to Dean). I have a feeling the end of this journey is near. :(

Well, there's me, two others, and your faithful army of lurkers. We're all still interested. Loved Sam luring the ponce in with his drunken act, and the nod back to Dean's statement - and the title of the story. And I could so see Sam losing it, and Dean's call bringing him back to his senses before he killed Derek. Justice has been dealt - at least to one of the thugs. I almost cheered aloud when Derek's smile faltered and he realised he might have just bitten off a little more than he could chew this time. Welcome back! Jules

Just saw this again and read the last three installments. I like it very much. Good plotting going on. I look forward to the next posting, but I've got to go back and refresh my memory a little bit to remember what happened to Dean. I remembered leaving off at Sam taking out the first two.
