Great way to tell the story! I liked it that we had to piece together the story along with Dean as his memories slowly came back!

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed putting yourself in Dean's position. I have to admit when I wrote it I wasn't entirely sure what he'd gone through at first either!

Wow! That was one helluva oneshot. Great job at the slow reveal. Just like Dean was trying hard to remember, and it was sort of frustrating.....the reader, too is slowly made aware of the situation and eventually the memories of that fateful event by the river. Great job!

This is an awesome story... I love the way you wrote it- from Dean's POV- First person. Loved the inner dialogue ( SO Dean!) and the timeline- starting with afterward and then reflecting back only to come back to the present.
Great Sammy too. VERY in character.
Fantastic job- I loved this one!
