I love it! I feel like I'm reading a description on the back of a book cover. LOVE that you found a feisible use for the word: Purdy. When I read I often hear the words in my mind like someone else reading them. Different voices and accents according to the person or character doing the talking or interprenting. Here I felt it! The hole way through I heard Missy Bender's voice AND (the most wonderful part) = her accent!! Great job for a first story and I will DEFINITLY be reading along on this one! Can't WAIT to see what you come up with next!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Wow I have just stopped here to update and found some reviews! Great! This story is completed bar some tweaking: 22 whole chapters, so no worries about it being abandoned partway through. I really hope you continue to enjoy it. You know, I do that with voices too though I think I may have tranplanted some Tennessee backwoods hillbillies into this story... I guess Show had to set it in Minnesota because of the weather! ;-)

Hey Hunny I like Sam's violence with Swenson...I think he would loose it with this reprehensible man. Hudak is a lovely character, beautifully written. She has strength and vulnerability in careful balance. Great story. bev xx

Author's Response: Well thank you kindly! It will be nice to post at my leisure here: might even do some tweaking. Have been setting breakneck pace with this over at FF and some chapters haven't been quite as detailed as I'd have liked so might fix a few details as I go... though don't want to go crazy. After all if he'd kept going back, da Vinci would have painted a big toothy smile on the Mona Lisa...! It'll be nice to see if the story picks up some fresh eyes here!

Author's Response: Ahoy hoy! Yes, finally figured out how to post! ;-) In fact turns out I wasalready registered here... it told me so when I tried to get set up. Can't remember doing that at all! Anyhoo, will be nice to see if any new readers discover the story here... and nice to maybe post it at my leisure, maybe with some twekas. The breakneck pace I have been setting with this over at FF means some chapters haven't turned out quite like I had hoped so may modify a tad. But gah, after reading the submission guidelines I did get a tad worried... hope no one flames the content! We shall see! ;-) And I can always blame you!
