Fantastic opener, felt so sorry for Carrie, an innocent victim in every respect; with the tension and hurt between Sam and Dean which is so painfully visible this will be a highly dangerous hunt and both are not geared up to do battle. Great Sam scene at the motel, his thoughts about their scars showed how much things changed, now Sam wears the signs of their battles on his skin and Dean's are buried inside (but as the title says we will see, right?) - desperate times indeed! Seems we are in for a thrilling ride, so looking forward to it!!
Author's Response: Thanks for that - wedding plans are kind of taking up most of my life right now, so things have been crazy. Finally got his ring paid for - so we are getting those a week from today, then comes the engagement dinner and more serious planning. I'm just glad the actual wedding isn't until November. It gives us some time.
I'm glad you are enjoying this one so far. And I'm glad you enjoyed the scars bit - I actually did put it in there for a reason and you picked up on it well. But as you said, nothing stays buried so there will be several things that come up in this story. I'm not too sure where it is going to go, and I only have time to work on this one afternoon a week, Thursdays since Mike has class, but I do have big plans for this one. So we'll see where it goes.
