The only criticism is that I'm not sure Dean wouldn't pick up on Sam's feelings and mood, at least just a little. I gotta say having her wake up in the morgue was a bit of a shock, will she be back I wonder? Thanks for the great story and I'll make sure to look for the next one.
Author's Response: I wondred if I should have changed it, but I wasn't sure what it would do for the story. Also I was a bit selfish because the ending relates to the beginning if the third story in this 'verse.

Season 4 spoilers ahead: If only post-Hell Dean were content on the show... Seems like every episode he's looking more and more like a kicked puppy. "You thought torturing people in Hell was bad... Guess what -- I liked it so I guess that makes me a monster!" "You thought maybe God was giving me a second chance? Think again -- they just want me to torture someone!" "Oh yeah, and me caving in Hell like a sissy-girl is the reason the world's gonna end. Turns out the apocalypse is all my fault!" "And hey, my brother's a demon-blood drinking junkie and my angel friend isn't my friend anymore!" Not sure how much more I can take, honestly. So thanks for giving us a contented Dean here. As I said, if only.

Author's Response: I was going to leave it at Dean almost being blown up, but I figured that was worse... might have miscalculated on that one though... hmm...? No, but I promise to hurry on the next chapt. "Real Life" has been a bit crazy lately and sleep hasn't exactly been at the top of the list. Thank goodness, Dean is rescued. But I have to admit I was concerned about how easy the rescue was considering what happened to Wynne in the previous chapter. But I suppose the mega explosion could well be the ultimate result of the traps also mentioned earlier. The bad guy is still out there, so I'm not at all sure Dean is safe yet. And did Diana die in the explosion? And did ...? Too many questions still be answered.

I'm glad Dean finally gets some *cough* comfort. :) The explosion was a little surprising. Psycho guy is still on the loose...can't wait for more, does he go after Dean again? If he does, hopefully they're ready for him!

Uh-oh. I had a feeling there was going to be a bomb there. It was just too easy for them to get Dean out! (At least it went off AFTER they left with him and not before) I'm a little concerned that Bloom just let Dean get away. Are we dealing with a calm before the storm here? Or is Bloom declaring war on all their butts? Seems like he's on a silent, sadistic warpath!

What a chapter! So many points of view and still I'm not sure how many are good guys and how many are bad but at least help for Dean seems to be coming. Now if only Sam can stay free of the Feds long enough to get his brother back in roughly one piece, he may even gets some new allies along the way.

Interesting few chapters, definitely looking forward to more. I can't decide if the FBI etc really want Sam's help or if they're trying to trap him somehow, and all the while Dean is suffering alone and no one seems to be trying to help him. Please don't keep us waiting for updates too long I like the momentum and mystery this story is building.

Great start. FBI good guys? or bad guys? or both? Sam hurt and a very bad baddie from the get-go. I just love being dropped straight in the action.

Someone(thing)'s targeting Sam? Perfect way to get to him, using Dean. Good story, personally being a Dean girl, it could use more Dean, but I can't wait to read what happens next!
Author's Response: Well I'm being very careful not to put too much Dean in there because I feel like if the story is only about his torture it'll become too drawn out very quickly. But I'll try to worm him in there some more ;)
