Intriguing start to your first SN story, Emma. lol...anyone who knows me at all, knows I shy away from long chapters as I have no attention span, but I really liked the pacing you have set for your story so far. Just a thought as I love evil cliffies, I would have liked to see a little foreshadowing at the end as to Dean being a "victim" to the black shadow. Maybe something as simple as saying he seemed a little disappointed that their leads had gotten them no where. Nothing that would set off clear warning bells in Sam's mind, but a hint to the reader of the evil at work in their midst. Otherwise, I think you are doing an awesome job so far.
