Aha! I thought from the title that it was Meg, in fact a couple of years ago, I was kicking around an AU idea that Ruby was Meg. So, great minds think alike, yes? ;-) Sue
Author's Response: Hi Sue I'm glad someone else got where the title was from. I had been watching BUABS and NRFTW and it was the breaking of the traps that got me thinking. It all seemed to tie in once I sat down and thought about is so I wrote this. Ruby being Meg makes sense, she knows Sam so well and she hates Dean! Great minds indeed, honey! It is kinda different but I went back and tried to check for holes in my theory and it seems pretty tight so.... it was the getting out the devil's trap in NRFTW that got me thinking 'cos Meg broke the one in BUABS, must be a hard thing to do for a demon? I haven't heard this theory before. I've heard Ruby is Lilith, but Meg? Very interesting. Good story
Author's Response: Hi there Just a little idea that found its way in and I had to see what you guys thought! Lillith and Ruby have been around at the same time (kind of) but Meg went to hell before Ruby appeared. They both escaped hell and Ruby got out the devil's trap in NRFTW so she can't just be a normal demon, Meg broke the devil's trap in BUABS...so I put it together and came up with this. Interested to see if it is true or if we will ever find out. Cheers Mary x

When I read the title to this story I knew exactly where you were going. This is what Sam said when the demon Meg was possessing him in BUABS. This same idea has been floating in my brain for weeks, and it's funny but I just read something the other day on another website about this. This person was saying the same thing. There are to many coincidences between Ruby and Meg and I can't shake it. The witch thing is the only thing I can't figure out. If this turns out to be true, Sam will be devastated. I guess we'll have to see. Keep writing and I'll keep reading!!
Author's Response: Hi there I love it. Someone spotted where the title came from!! *hands gold star over* It was what Meg/Sam said in BUABS. I had watched that and we had need speculating on who Ruby was, think that's were the idea came from and then I just had to try and justify it! The witch thing is a head scratcher though! I love it! you have connected all the dots beautifully! Kripke gets a little confusing sometimes and you have tied it all up to where it makes perfect sense. I am rooting for your ending to be right!
