I can really see Dean responding to Alastair in a 'good son' kind of way. When he's got nothing left to fall back on, obedience to a father figure - any father figure - is always going to be Dean's way of coping.
And Bela - yeah, they so need to make her victim #1 in the show!

Ohhh...you gave me chills with that last line. But it really does figure they would have him kill someone he knew, making it all the worse for him. Awesome job. bambers;)

Author's Response: A few reviewers have said it would probably have made it easier for Dean if it was someone he hated - like Bela. But I'm on the fence with that, because I agree with what you said - he might have loathed the woman, but putting a 'face' on his victim - someone he knew - would make it a whole lot harder for him. Still. It's Bela. So yeah, maybe he might have enjoyed it too!

Cool! Of all the people to choose for Dean's first victim, Bela was a good choice. The only person he'd rather see on the wrack is Meg.

Meg was a bitch, but Bela? Yeah, I'd happily see her on the rack! (Bless her - I actually kinda felt sorry for her in TIOMS!)

yikes. *shivers* not sure what's scarier - 'make me proud, son' or the demonic cheerleaders. Love it! Demented and demonic in the best possible way.

Author's Response: Thank you deary! I think Dean would have been so messed up in the head by this point, he would have responded to any kind of 'fatherly' direction, even from Alastair.
