Oh my dog - I love this one! It's so eloquent, so sad, so warming, so pleasing. It's like an unassuming, ungainly mongrel who loves you and you can't help playing with it. I love the irony of this 'death'-death, the succinct but clever way it's laid out for us. It's ace!
