Aghhhh.... now what STUPID stupid thing is John gonna do? Love the convo between Agnes and Sam- nice that somebody smacked that boy in the head. Also loved the convo between Dean adn Jim - stories like this always make me wish Kripke hadnt killed him off soooo quick. Great chapter! Cant wait for more!
Author's Response: Hi Tree Stupid doesn't even describe what John is about to do, he's mad and you know what Winchester's are like when they're mad, they open their mouths and don't think! I think there was a bit of season bleed in Agnes and Sam convo! lol Jim still had a big part to play in this - a little talk with John. Thanks, Mary x

I don't blame Agnes for not being very happy, sometimes John and Sam just don't think about what comes out of their mouths.

Ahh! what a tear jerker. that was so well done I could just feel Dean's pain. Of course he'll make leaving easier on Sammy, he wouldn't be Dean if he didn't. hope he's not quite as nice to John.( nope, still haven't forgiven him!) excellent chapter can't wait for more.

ok- I have to admit that I was sorta expecting Dean to REALLY lose it with Sam- and then as I think about it- I think his reaction here was just perfect and very in character... I guess I just WANTED him to cut lose on his brother and dad a bit more- to stand up for himself... But- I think you summed him up soooo well in those last few lines... he'd never hurt his brother, he'd never stand in Sam's way- no matter how much it cost him or hurt him... great chapter- cant wait for the next bit- and hoping its between Dean and John... This is just such a sad reminder of how Sam's leaving really hurt the guy!
Author's Response: Hi Tree You know I had written it as a fight and when I went to post it I realised that I didn't like it so re-wrote it to this so thanks for putting my mind at rest that I've done the right thing! Mary, tore my heart out his chapter did. poor Dean always giving in to Sam. i love Sam but he can be so selfish at times. Dean deserves a life too. kind of hoping you would have wrote what Jim thought or had to say when he sees Dean like this.

Dean didn't even know what the fight was about! Of course he wouldn't know, but it means Sam has to drop the bomb again. OUCH! Maybe Dean should have stayed with not talking, it may have been easier on him. I liked that part especially- "What was it about?" All this being nice and good is HARD. :)

How sad! Dean is willing to let Sam go even though it is literally breaking his heart. Sam seemed rather oblivious to Dean's pain, though. But I guess that's a teenager for you. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm still liking Agnes. The flirting scene was a lot of fun. I'm glad you didn't just jump to "Dean's all better" when the spell was broken. It's kind of nice taking the time to see how much healing he's got to do. As far as my last comment goes- I didn't even THINK about season 4 when I wrote it, but yes, you're right. Hmm.... Still being nice and good.....

I just LOVE Agnes- and the suggestive banter between her and Dean was just perfect... Glad to see Dean on the mend... (he is isnt he?) and I cant wait till he lets loose on his dad and brother. Well done chapter!

Oh gosh that was sad. Poor Dean! The lasting effects of this hex are more than skin deep -- cutting right down to the core of him. Nothing like a hex like this to really spell out what it is that's tearing Dean apart on the inside. Great chapter!
