Great tale- was hooked the whole way through. Are there plans to write the Zombie back story? Sounds like gripping stuff. My favorite part here - aside from Dean in full smart mouth mode was the Mac/John interaction - interesting to glance into that relationship.

This is a fantastic start. The boot camp situation is the perfect setting. Loved the look into Sam's maturing mind - all that sarcasm and worry that will ultimately fuel his decision to leave. The fact that it's spilling out on to Dean is what makes this chapter even more interesting.
As always waiting with baited breath to see what Caleb and the others have up their sleeves.
Great work - a little confused by your author's notes - Brotherhood's early renewal notice?

Thank you for completing this story. It may not be your usual fare but I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved the ending especially Sam's dig at Caleb "It's truly sad how Caleb's extremely low IQ requires he consistently relearn material." Such a great line from your very own 'Tiny Einstein!'
