Awesome chapter. Dean has been so hurted emotionally and physically that he took refuge in his perfect, happy own world. Sam and Bobby're going to have to work hard convince Dean to come back to them. Amazing story Mal, I can't wait for more.

But oh dear, Cas is doing bad (although it seems he has gotten "help") and Dean is even worse then we thought.
I loved how you described Bobby's brief moment of doubt whether to help Castiel or rush to Dean's side, but Cas is "this strange and difficult being that they owed such a debt to." - Great choice of words.
No go save Dean, will you?! Looking forward to the next chapter!

What a terrific chapter. Castiel nearly died but Sam and Bobby saved him. Neurological damage, don't tell me that Dean is in a vegetative state. Can't wait to know what'll happen next.
