As soon as you mentioned the mirrored bathroom, I knew Dean was going to see Castiel's handprint.  I read so fast my brain almost couldn't keep up.  It's nice to be surprised but it's delightful, too, sometimes to know what's coming and have to wait for it.  Bingo!  That was it!

The scene with Castiel and the little boy was so sweet!  I was so touched that God found Castiel and made things right between them, restored his faith in himself and his Lord.  So much of the series makes God out to be an absent power who cares little about His children on earth.  I'm glad that you reminded us that not even a sparrow will fall without His knowing.

What a contrast between Lilith's playfully wicked little girls and this trusting, kind child.  Once again you've summed up the difference between good and evil with a simple comparison.

Please tell me the Trickster is going to step in and save the day.  Please, please, please!

"She wanted to fry his nads to the scorched earth after what he'd done to her."  How funny!  My hsuband winced in pain when I read it out loud to him.

...diving headfirst into our own bloodbath!"  Very colorful statement!  I luuuuv it!

I got a tickle out of Ruby's delight in Dean's dilemma and Sam's resulting guilt.  Someimes I just want to root for the bad guy.  Maybe because I know Dean's okay now.

What a sweet idea for Dean to give his hand controls to some other kid with the same debilitating injury.  Way to spread the love!

Oooh!  What wicked torture not only for Sam but for Dean as well.

Ruby is as lucky as the Winchesters are unlucky!  At least Sam has Dean coming to his rescue.

Great chapter!  I can't wait to hurry on to the next one!

Halleluia!  I'm delighted that Dean finally can feel his legs again, even if it does mean he's wracked with agonizing pain at the moment.  There's hope for the future.  the burned handprint on his back is a great tie-in to the episode.

How wonderful for Bobby to tell Dean he needed him in charge!  that proves to Dean that he isn't worthless.  He is a valuable and needed hunter.

Dean being able to drive the Impala again is such a blessing!  Now he'll be able to recover.

Who did Sam pick up?  The Trickster or Lilith or maybe even Ruby back from Hell?  Just when I thought the major drama was over, then you start it up again.

You said they would belt each other and they did, a lot lol, looking forward to them getting to Bobby's

Author's Response: Yeah,  that little spat was long in coming,  lol---thanks---mal

Things are moving quickly on all fronts.  It's about time Castiel got a lcue about Uriel.  Glad Anna was able to enlighten him and explain why the Lord had no new news for him.

Bobby's little ass-chewing get the fire lit in Dean and now that Sam's back they can do what they need to.

All in all, a necessary and enlightening chapter.  Well done!

There are so many different emotions playing out here.  I need some Tylenol and a nap just reading about the turmoil.  Excellent writing!  I feel part of each character and understand their emotions and views.

yay Anna!  She'll make sure Dean gets help.

Finally, the dam burst and Dean lashed out.  It was as tremendous as I expected.  The ass-chewing Sam got had soem merit.  At least he said his part to keep Sam from running into the thick of things and getting himself killed.

The most heartbreaking segment was Dean's opionion of himself and the nurses who cared for him.  That was heart-wrenching.

Okay, Cas, Loki---someone, it's time to step in and help.

Jesus H. Christ?!  That's funny!  Hee!  Did Cas tell you his middle name?

Another great update!  Looks like the dust has to settle some.  Our only hopes are the Trickster and Castiel.  Unless you have soemthing else up your sleeve, Magician.

"Feels like my legs are twisted around, can't straighten them--"  Fabulous!  I have a friend who suffered a traumatic spinal injury and that was something he said.  You seem to have described the anger, helplessness and injury remarkably well.

Geez!  you can really beat Dean into ground beef.  Losing the ability to care for himself independently is the worst thing that could happen to Dean.  Hopefully, Cas will be able to do something later.  *crosses fingers*

Oh!  I'm speechless...just...wow!

Now what?

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 01/07/09 09:01 AM · On: Chapter 11

Damn!  Sam just won't learn his lesson.

You're rounding up all my favorite villains for this story.  First Lilith, now the Trickster---yay!

Reviewer: Soennelchen (Signed) · Date: 01/07/09 08:52 AM · On: Chapter 29

Damn it Sam, why do you tell Ruby so much? The fight reminded me of Sex and Violence. For a moment I was afraid that we would be back at square one and Sam would start to go violent on Dean again. I'm glad he finally spilled his guts and told his big brother everything.   Hope Bobby will be able to shed some light on the events!

Author's Response: Yeah...Ruby is a problem that I don't quite know how to deal with.  But Bobby always knows,  lol---ml

I love Lilith!  She's the character you love to hate!  She has her own creepy personality and the fact that she possesses children is both more horrifying and amusing than other demons.

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 01/07/09 08:41 AM · On: Chapter 9

Lilith!  *gasp!*  Oh my STARS!  I had no idea.  This is an unexpected surprise.  You got Lilith's wicked playfulness spot-on!

And the extra bonus of an unknown creature/entity that even Cateil can't figure out.  this keeps getting better!

Reviewer: Soennelchen (Signed) · Date: 01/07/09 08:36 AM · On: Chapter 28

This chapter is pure awesomeness of writing! The way you let us take a look into Bobby's head, Sam and Dean's thoughts on David, Ellen and their possible happiness, the final confrontation between Sam and Dean in the car... I can see it playing out in front of me! Moving on...

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 01/07/09 08:29 AM · On: Chapter 8

I wondered where Bobby's gone off to.  I was beginning to worry.  Good to know he's safe.  Chips as sustenance---ha!  Good one!

Eventually the boys will have to hook up.  Icnat wait to see what's inside of Sam pulling his strings.

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 01/07/09 07:57 AM · On: Chapter 7

I don't know whether I'm just in a beat up Sam mood or whether you've infulenced my feelings with your writing, but Sam's giving too little, too late.

Dean and David on the road together---I'm interested to see the dynamic between these two friends as opposed to when the brothers hunt together.

As for not reading what's out there in UnGen world, that's not unusual.  Many writers don't like to read while they're writing for fear it will influence their stories.  I love to read so I don't let it stop me.  Sometimes it's actually helpful.  If I'm planning a werewolf story and there are tons being posted at that time, I move onto something else.

Whatever you need to do to keep writing, keep doing it!  I'll keep reading it!

Reviewer: Shannondoah (Signed) · Date: 01/07/09 07:45 AM · On: Chapter 6

Fabulous chapter!  Isn't it just like Dean to think of Sammy first?  Even as upset as Sam is about killing Dean, big brother still isn't his number one priority.  His thoughts are on revenge while buzzards pick the bones clean on the side of the road.
