Can`t believe I didn`t find this story earlier! It was so wonderful written and you described the boys`feelings so well. The story will really light up my day (despite of the fog and the rain we got today). Claudia

Awww, this is so sweet. Loved reading about Dean from Wee!Sammy's point of view. Also like the way you connected it back to present day third season, nicely setting up the auto shop lesson which is my favorite scene from Fresh Blood.

Author's Response:

Hey, Sue! Thanks so much for coming over to check this out, and for the sweet review you left. I really appreciate it!

I like the auto shop lesson in FB too, though my favorite scene in there is Sam's "I know you" scene. Obviously, since I used the quote here. LOL

I'm really glad you liked this. I completely fell in love with wee!Sammy and wee!Dean while writing this, so much so that I ended up re-visiting them in the first several chapters of the Thanksgiving story. I just love the boys at these ages, they're so adorable.

Thanks again for the great review, I appreciate you letting me know what you thought! :)

Aww!  This is just adorable- can't even believe I'd missed this! -- And that part about teacher saying "Violence isn't the answer," and Sam answering, "Only- it is for Dean," is just so classic Winchester brotherness-- Love it!

Author's Response:

Awww...thanks for the great review and rating!! *hug* It really made my day!

I'm so glad you found this story and liked it so much. And I'm especially delighted that you liked the bit about violence not being the answer--except for Dean. LOL I still crack up every time I think of that line, it's one of my very favorites. I'm so glad you liked it.

Thanks again for taking the time to read and review!

Oh my gosh! I was cringeing right alongside Dean! How precious was little Sammy, though, despite the fact that he was treading on very dangerous ground with monsters and punching kids out - lol! And I loved that little thought of Dean's about regretting teaching Sammy to talk - chuckled at that one.

I can just imagine that earnest little face, all bright eyes and dimples, standing up there with the piece of paper clutched in his hand, hero-worship radiating from him in waves, while Dean got redder and redder.

What a feast this story was. And to find that Dean still had the note in his wallet after all that time - and to find it at the end of that particular episode was just so perfect.

That was awesome, Beth.

Author's Response:

Hey, Jules! Thank you, so much, for the absolutely wonderful review you left for this story, it means so much to me.

I'm so glad you liked little Sammy, he was so fun to write. And I'm especially glad you picked out the line about Dean regretting teaching Sammy to talk--I laughed so hard writing that. I'm glad it made you laugh, too.

I'm really happy that Dean still having the paper in his wallet after all that time worked for you too.

Thank you, for taking the time to read and leave such a lovely review. It totally made my day! :)

this was so cute. i've only read a few wee!chesters stories. for some reason i was staying away from them, but little stories like this are making them grow on me...i could just picture a little colin ford saying all that stuff. thanks for posting:)

Author's Response:

Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to read and review my story, I really appreciate it. I'm so happy you liked it!

For some reason, I avoided wee!Chester fics in the beginning too. But once I started reading them, I fell in love, and once I wrote this one, I had to write more. LOL If you're interested, I have a story up called "Thanksgiving, Winchester Style" and it's a series of one-shots, mostly showing the boys' connection over the years and important holidays in the Winchesters' lives. The first several are wee!Chester, then the next few are teen!Chester, and it's working it's way up to show time. Anyway, if you end up checking it out, let me know what you think!

Again, thanks for the feedback! It really made my day! :)

Hey there! I'm so happy you decided to check this one out. Thank you, so much, for the great review you left, I really appreciate it.

I don't know if you've read my other one-shot yet, "Parenting Your Gifted Child," but if you enjoyed this one, you might like that one too. It has a similar theme.

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to read and review. It really means a lot to me! :)

Love this story so much; little Sam declaring his love to his brother with this list ("He's the best big brother ever. The very, very best." His emphatic adoration was both immediate and heartfelt.") was one of those shiny, blessed moments in life you know you're truly loved, very touching! The end scene with Dean looking at Sammy's list he kept all those years showed in such a lovely way what it meant to him (especially at this point when he nearly gave up), the understanding this special brotherly bond is a constant and worth to fight and live for (aah well I know, but still...) -  "Yeah, the big brother thing...that he could do." PERFECT!

Author's Response:

Awww, thank you for the lovely review you left for my story, and the rating. It means so much to me. Yeah, I loved the idea of the list so much that I actually refer to it again (briefly) in my Thanksgiving fic. I am a big sucker for stories that portray the constancy of the boys' bond, and that's the huge theme of that story, so I thought it'd be fun to throw in a reference to the list.

I'm so glad you felt like this depicted those moments when you know you are really loved, I wanted Dean to have that. And I'm glad the tag worked for you too, I wanted it to show just how much the paper had meant to him. I'm so happy you liked this so much. Thanks for taking the time to let me know!

I smile and end up laughing everytime I read this story.

Sammy is so cute reading his 'report' on Dean.  I love Deans thoughts, 'He knew it had been a mistake teaching the kid to talk'.

Than Dean put the paper safely away in his wallet.  I always wondered if Sam ever found it there by accident.

Thanks again for sharing your stories with us.

Take care.

Author's Response:

Hey there! Awww, thanks for leaving a review over here for this one, I really appreciate it. *hug*

I'm so pleased you liked the line about Dean teaching Sammy to talk, it gave me a giggle when I wrote it. Hmm...did Sam ever find the paper in Dean's wallet? Good question. I may have to write a fic about that...it fits in nicely with another idea I had. Thanks! :)

Thanks again for the great review!
