May I just say I would be one girl who was not afraid to see Sam's scars...yummy! I hate that this is hurting Sam so much, but I know it's not something you just get over. It will take a long while before he can move on. I am really loving this and I am looking forward to the next update!

omg! this is officially my favorite story EVER! i hope in the actual show, they do this after the demon war, because that would be awesome!!!! i love turners character, i meen yeah, he is an ass, but i think that kind of attitude is just what sammy needs to push him over the edge to talk to dean. please update asap!!! i cant wait!!! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! (hope you still say that after the plot twist - starts to bite nails...) Yes, Sam needed a push to break through the shell he'd built around himself - not going out - locking his door, etc. Well, he can't lock his door anymore - big brother smashed the lock!

AAAWWWW - the hugging! You really are trying to kill us with all this suspense... Seriously though, this is a great buildup. I'm enjoying Dean in full big brother mode, but where was he when all this was going down with Sam? Hard to believe that angsty Dean could have picked up and got on with life - a life that seems to be without hunting? Looking forward to more - and I just know that Jeremy Turner is going to be trouble with a capital T - and hey, doesn't that rhyme with pool?!
Author's Response: Yes, young Jeremy is a tool - there's always got to be one, hasn't there? Where was Dean when Sam was hurt? Thrown up against a wall and out cold, actually... Chapter 5 has the flashback to the demon war. And another flashback in a later chapter will reveal the details of Sam's long recovery - and lots more hugs from big brother!

Okay, I reviewed this yesterday, but for some reason it didn't go through. And damn, it was a good review too! I really love the idea of Sam and Dean being teachers now. It sounds like something that is really up their alley and they can put their skills to good use. I like the hand to hand combat exercise. I want to seriously hurt Turner for that cheap shot at Sam. But Dean took care of that for me, so yay! So, Sam defeated the Big Nasty, eh? Awesome start!
Author's Response: Thanks, Steph. Yes, Sam defeated the big nasty - but it changed him - the next chapter gives a hint of what happened, and the big flashback is scheduled for chapter 5.

Mizpah, what a fabulous idea for a story, Dean and Sam teaching how to become hunters. Sam sounds broken physically and emotionally after killing the YED. Very captivating and intriguing story so far. Can't wait to know what you've in store for them.

This seems like your most ambitious story yet. This chapter just leaves me begging to know more - really, begging here... Dean as a teacher, oh - yummy! How sad is it that Sam echos Dean's words from season 1 -"It's all I have" - meaning teaching - seems to me he still has Dean. I do have one small bone to pick though: as a teacher, I always prickle at the "those who can't, teach" line. I gotta tell ya, ya gotta be able to do, to teach....
Author's Response: I agree with you on that line - actually, a friend of mine said it to me one day last year, so I decided to throw it in. I'm a qualified staff trainer, and a qualified bookkeeper, so I do and I teach - proving that the line is wrong. (I didn't agree with my friend either, but I didn't tell her that) The fleshing out of the previous year will be told in flashbacks - and I've thrown everything at this story - hope you can hang in with me to the end, and the huge plot twist I'm going to chuck in...

here's some gold for ya!..... i love this story! it is totally amazing, and such a good idea to have sammy and dean as teachers! i would have never thought of that!!! i love it that they still have their humor, but one thing im not too sure on is why sammy cant hunt anymore? i mean he obviously can fight, because he fought that turner kid, and he has a new power to go along with his moves, so why? anyway, one of my favorites so far, so please upd8 asap!!! :)
Author's Response: Why Sam can't hunt will be told in flashbacks, which will also cover the big battle with the demon and how Sam got hurt. Plus little snippets of conversation through the story. Thanks for that gold - you don't know how precious it is - (I'm rather a nervous writer)

Poor Sam, they have finally gotten rid of the demon, but yet it seems to be controlling his life because of the left behind scars! Sam isn't living. He is just existing!
Author's Response: Yes, he carries emotional scars as well as physical - and how he got to that state will be revealed as we go along - I have some flashbacks planned. Thank you so much for reading.
