Great update,  it's been a while.  I'm not sure if Sam and Jessi have reached Dean in time to save him, Have they?    Is Jessi going to just let Raef kill her?  Too many questions.  Hope to read more soon. Thanks.

I loved this chapter.... despise Raef... he's wonderfully evil... I loved the taunting about Dean's fears and how he so perfectly picked out that Dean's worse fear had nothing to do with rats or flying... nicely done!

Keep throwing those breadcrumbs!  I'm following every one of them.  Weaving the past and present together is a nice technique.

the description of Jessi is so realistic!  I'm glad Sam didn't push her, glad his compassion and humanity for this frail girl outweighed the desire he had to save his brother.

Update soon please. This is scarily, horrifyingly good.

I'm not sure what it makes me but I'm enjoying Dean's suffering. Sick I know, but even I don't like the idea of his suffering being dragged out indefinitely.
