As it seems they still haven't solved the technical problems at ffnet and so I'm glad you updated here and I have the chance to review the new chap.
It's so good the boys had the time in the cabin to regroup and heal a bit, cause what we learned about Ruby now is truly diabolic (worse than expected) and without Dean at his side Sam couldn't take it; unbelievable cruel what she did to him, can't even imagine how much this must hurt Sam, great descriptions and grand chapter!

Ok so a couple of things:
One: I LOVE that you have Sam and Dean playing chess. Makes sense that two of the greatest hunters are familiar with a game of strategy.
Two: "Pie, Sammy, they have pie." SO 'Dean' to say that. Fits him perfectly!
Three: I'm definitely starting to hate Ruby a little bit for all the stuff you have her doing to Sam. You weren'y kidding when you said we shouldn't read if we liked her. Awesome job!
Oh and the last bit there was hearbreaking. So sad and I could almost imagine all the guilt pouring over Sam... Great job, hun. Looking forward for the updates.

Aww... They're healing right before our very eyes... Almost... It's a nice change of pace with all the emotional pain and heartbrek the series has been dishing out lately. This story is like a little light in the dark. Thanks for sharing that with us.

This story has definitely caught my attention, I always love a good angsty limp Sam story. Interesting take on what Ruby was forcing Sam to do! Never thought that she'd be forcing him to be injected w/her blood, but that does kinda make sense.

I'm very curious as to why Sam is suddenly afraid of needles......
I also really liked how you wrote Dean thinking that Ruby had been influencing Sam. Words can be so difficult to forgive, I couldn't think of a way for Dean to truly get past them but you worked your magic and its believable:)
