Well that packed a punch. Amazing stuff - there was so much here that was just authentic Dean, the tone the reasoning - you capture both perfectly!
I have to admit I have not seen this episode - but the sentiment carries so well here. I am kind of dreading what's down the line for the boys. Your portrayal of Dean breaks my heart - and it's not due to fanciful language, it's purely because it has the ring of truth and the force of believability behind it. Truly stirring stuff.

This little piece says everything which Dean has been trying to say in the show. Well done. Dean's voice is very believable and that's good.

THat was great!! You captured the hurt, the self-doubt, the loss. Their relationship is so damaged right now. There was so much left unsaid after the last epi....you did a wonderful job of filling in that gap.

Thanking you. I agree, their relationship is in dire need of fixing but the brothers just keep carrying on without fully acknowledging that point.

You found the perfect words to express how devastating this must feel for Dean, scaring, very painful to read, it really seems they're losing each other and I know this is breaking his heart (it's breaking mine too)! Watching them say those awful things, especially what Sam said, was worse than watching the hell hounds get Dean. The car scene shows us in a very intense way the very dark path they're treading, it's pitch-black (and still I don't doubt their love for each other, that's my hope!). Marvellous writing!!

How sad. I'm hoping Sam here can't look at Dean because of what he said to Dean and is feeling really guilty. When watching the episode I felt that Dean was really telling Sam how he felt and I was really afraid that Sam was telling Dean how he truly felt. I hope not, though. Great POV of Dean's.

That's my way of saying this has touched me and also broken my heart, which means it's absolutely awesome because I'm a huge sucker for angst :) LoVeD iT.

Author's Response: Thanking you. I'm glad it could touch you in such a way. I guess there's no use in denying that I'm a mini fan of the angst so I won't even try. The scene was such a terrific scene that it felt right to write about the after affects.
