Hey Vonnie. I'm just reading through some of the UnGen Nominated stories and that's a cool (cool! Get it? haha) creature. Congratulations on you nomination and good luck. Bird x
Author's Response: Thanks, you caught me off guard here, because I didn't even know this story was nominated. I'm happy to hear you thought my creature was cool. Hugs, Vonnie

Always excited when I see one of your stories and this is another wonderful one! It was scary (the "tuunbaq nanuq" so creepy and I really liked the lore), funny (enjoyed Dean's comment in the library and the "gay" pool scene a lot) and touching all at once, with lovely brother moments - "...having the kid by his side meant more than he would ever admit."/"Losing your mother when you were just a toddler, and having your father trade his life for yours was real. One thing though that wasn't real, couldn't be, because it was just more than he ever would be able to survive, was losing your baby brother. Sam was the only one he had left and there was no way he could lose him.", so sweet, perfect, really couldn't wish for more!!
Author's Response: Wow, I started out with someone making my day, now you are making the rest of it. You are sweet. I'm so happy that you liked this. You know I'm a sucker for those brotherly moments and I have to confess I kinda liked the lore myself. It took me some time though to come up with it. Hugs, Vonnie

Lots of really well thought out elements in this one, from the polar bear demon freezing people to gain power, to the tenseness of Sam falling victim to her, to Bobby suggesting that Dean bless the water in the pool and immerse Sam in it to slow down the demonic influence, to the creative way of killing the polar demon with an equatorial weapon. I love the inclusion of Caleb and Bobby as backup for our boys. And poor Dean, having to pretend to cuddle his brother every time someone walked past. The demon's departure was awesome - melting into a puddle which seeped into the ground. And thankfully, Caleb and Bobby's first aid finally brought Sam around. That was a very sweet moment when Sam woke up and realised that Dean had been crying over him. Nice one, Vonnie. I really enjoyed it. Jules
Author's Response: Wow, do you have any idea how you just made me feel. I am floating on air. You made my day and I'm blushing and my heart is thumping in excitement. Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Coming from you that means more than anything to me. Hope you are doing alright. I look forward to Friday. Hugs, Vonnie
