Aw, now that was just plain sweet.  I love thinking about John and Mary when their babies were born.  Wouldn't they have been so disgustingly cute?

Totally O/T, but did they have lactation consultants back in '79?  I'm just remembering this bizarre trend in that time period where it was uncool to breast feed.  Like only poor people resorted to breast feeding...  How nuts is that?

Sorry... That was random.

Loved this.  :)

Author's Response:

I may have taken liberty with the time period and lactation consultants.  I'm not sure when they came into vogue.  The division I work for at the hospital employs THE top breastfeeding expert in the country so we hear about them all the time.  If I'd been at work, I may have asked her, but then again that would have opened things up to a long lecture.  hehe

Glad you enjoyed the little snippet.

So touching!  I'm so used to seeing Dean the rugged man that I forget he was once a sweet, pure baby---the hope of his mother and the pride of his father.  Thanks for reminding me!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Shannon.  I shoulda had this up on the 24th but life just got away from me.

I'm really happy you liked it.
