This is a killer story that should never be finished with all the details that have inclinched my wanting and urging to keep reading.
Secondly, is that the boys do not work with others at times if its not one of the family hunters that they know of.

hey Muffy.
this is a real interesting chapter. It has a different feel than some of your other stories, i think that's because there are the 4 principle characters and therefore there's more intense dialogue.
It feels faster paced somehow, but then that's deliberate I guess as they are kinda in a race against time aren't they?
i like it, but then 4 interesting and hot hunter/healers...what's not to like!

Muffy, I'm so glad that you start writing the sequel to The Apothecary. Only one chapter and I'm already hooked. A worm infected Dean and Galen and he'll go after them eventually, that's bad news. Poor Dean, he's in so much pain, it's gutwrenching. I can't wait to read more.

Loved the big brothers rolling their eyes at Rob and Sam. Sam and Rob are SUCH geeks, but in a cute, lovely way. Heh. Galen and Dean are alike in some ways but not all of them. Where Dean is brave and badass, Galen is serene and thoughtful. Hm. Can't decide who would be my fav... Can I have em both?
Bring on the next one! NOW! And see that you tie Scopie down for the next installment, coz this is real TORTURE!
